Most tools you find online reuse the same algorithm that is trained on modern photos without such baggage. This results in a blurriness, pixelation, overprocessing (both with denoising and sharpening) when run with an old photo!

Value: For every photo you submit, Nostalgia Photo generates 3 options to choose from! We do this because we found that other apps often produced subpar results returning just one photo.They might be blurry, overprocessed, or end up not looking like the subject.

Although running the algorithm 3 times is more costly to us, we found that our users appreciated having multiple options to choose from.

Please only upload photos that you are legally allowed to in both your country and in the United States. This means you have to either the copyright to the photo, or be an authorized used. This also means the content of the photo itself must be legal in both your country and in the United States.

No - Our platform runs on machines that accrues GPU costs on processing every photo submitted, so once we run it for your photo, we are unable to process refunds.

You will not be charged if we fail to show you results. You are guaranteed to always have 3 restored photos to select from. If for some reason, you cannot see your photo and it is within 24 hours of being uploaded.

Great question! We only use your photos for the purpose of processing them to render the restored photos. We delete them automatically from our servers after 24 hours in order to maintain your privacy.

For long-term storage on your own devices, we recommend downloading them as soon as we process your photos. We make it as easy as possible, allowing you to download on a per photo basis, or a bulk download of all your photos uploaded in the last 24 hours.

Be careful of uploading your photos to other apps that use your photos to mine or sell your likeness.
