Microsoft Copilot, formerly known as Bing Chat, has introduced a groundbreaking plugin that empowers users to effortlessly create songs with lyrics and voice within seconds. Leveraging Suno, an AI-powered music creation tool, this innovative feature is seamlessly integrated into Copilot, enabling users to craft songs encompassing lyrics, instrumentals, and singing voice—all from a single sentence. Typically spanning one to two minutes in duration, Copilot also generates a transcript of the lyrics for user reference.

It's crucial to note that the ownership of these AI-generated songs rests with Suno, and users are restricted from monetizing them on prominent music platforms such as Spotify and YouTube. Nevertheless, these musical creations can be shared across various social media platforms and utilized for non-commercial purposes. For those eager to explore this musical realm with Microsoft Copilot, the process is straightforward. After navigating to the Microsoft Copilot website and signing in with a Microsoft account, users can activate the Suno plugin either through the plugin panel or the dedicated "Make music with Suno" button. Following this, users simply describe the desired song in the text field at the window's bottom and press enter.

Microsoft Copilot promptly responds by generating a complete song, accompanied by lyrics for users to peruse. It's important to mention that downloading these AI-generated musical compositions is not an option, as Suno maintains the rights. As part of Microsoft's recent advancements, Copilot Notebook, a feature allowing users to input prompts on the left and receive corresponding results on the right, was also unveiled last week.
