In a major announcement at the 9th Ignite conference in Bengaluru, Healthify, formerly known as Healthify Me, has revealed a significant platform update, now leveraging the capabilities of generative AI. The health and wellness company, boasting over 40 million users and nearly 250,000 paid subscribers, aims to revolutionize health habits with its enhanced app and a strategic partnership with food delivery giant Swiggy.
The revamped Healthify app introduces Ria 2.0, a cutting-edge multimodal, multilingual conversational AI coach driven by generative AI. Beyond responding to texts, Ria 2.0 comprehends voice commands, offering personalized health coaching based on diverse metrics like calorie intake, activity level, and sugar levels. The app's user interface has been streamlined for a more intuitive experience, consolidating all AI-powered insights in one accessible place.
Snap, the nutrition tracking feature, has undergone a 40% accuracy boost in its latest version. Capable of identifying over a million types of food with more than 90% accuracy, Snap's enhanced capabilities will soon be available on both Android and iOS devices. Healthify asserts that its food detection algorithm surpasses some general-purpose generative AI models, citing fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs) using extensive data and platform-generated context.
In a strategic move, Healthify has forged a partnership with Swiggy, enabling users to effortlessly order food and groceries aligned with their health recommendations. The collaboration, set to kick off on December 15 in select markets like Bengaluru, reflects a seamless integration of health-conscious choices into users' daily lives. Healthify envisions a future where users can not only order recommended meals but also the necessary groceries to prepare diet-conscious dishes, extending the impact of their AI-driven health coach.
