Hailo Secures $120 Million Funding, Unveils Hailo-10 Accelerator Redefining Edge AI

Hailo, a pioneer in edge AI processors, has announced a significant funding milestone of $120 million, catapulting its total investment to over $340 million. This financial injection accompanies the launch of its revolutionary Hailo-10 GenAI accelerator, signaling a transformative leap towards embedding generative AI directly into edge devices across sectors like personal computing and automotive industries. The latest round of funding saw participation from both existing and new investors, including the Zisapel family, Gil Agmon, Delek Motors, and Alfred Akirov, among others. Established in 2017 in Israel, Hailo has swiftly emerged as a key player in the AI chip sector, serving a clientele of over 300 customers worldwide. With a global presence spanning from the United States to Asia, Hailo's innovative processors deliver data center-level AI performance directly on edge devices, redefining traditional computer architecture and enabling real-time deep learning tasks with unparalleled efficiency. The Hailo-10 accelerator promises to revolutionize user experiences by empowering the execution of GenAI applications locally, eliminating the reliance on cloud-based services. Danon underlined the transformative potential of Hailo-10, stressing its seamless integration of GenAI capabilities into daily life, enhancing productivity, and addressing privacy concerns by processing data locally.

Distinguishing itself with superior performance-to-cost and performance-to-power consumption ratios, the Hailo-10 supports a wide array of applications while ensuring sustainability.
